Recipe - porridge cornmeal with tamarind (papa maishi chiki tamarein)

Porridge cornmeal with tamarind prepared by groep 6B onder supervision of their teacher juf Liesje



Ingredients

look how he enjoy the porridge
  • Cornmeal 
  • Water 
  • Salt 
  • Sugar 
  • Tamarind





Instructions

  1. Peel the tamarind
  2. Boil the tamarind with some water in a pan
  3. Add water to the cornmeal (maishi chiki) in a separate bowl
  4. Add this mixture to the boiling tamarind
  5. Add a pink of salt and 
  6. 4 scoops of sugar
  7. Keep stirring until thick enough
  8. Serve in a bowl or a plate 

 Enjoy it!!!
