Broken Glass Jello
Preparation time:
longer than 2 hours
Ingredients:
Colored Jello:
1 box red Jello
1 box green Jello
1 box orange Jello
1 box yellow Jello
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
White gelatin:
2 cans of sweetened condensed milk (don't use evaporated milk)
1 teaspoon white
Vanilla aroma
2 cans of cream of nestle
1 can of full
cream milk
3 envelopes unflavored gelatin
Directions:
- For each flavor, dissolve 1/2 envelope unflavored gelatin and one box of jello in one cup of boiling water and 1/2 cup cold water.
- Pour into a
container and chill (overnight is best). After chilling the four flavors, cut
them into small blocks.
Then...
- In a bowl, sprinkle 3 envelopes unflavored gelatin into 1/2 cup cold water.
- After the gelatin blooms, add 1 1/2 cup boiling water and dissolve.
- In a separate bowl beat the cream of nestle.
- Add gelatin, the can of milk, 1 teaspoon white vanilla and the cans of condensed milk.
- Stir well.
- Put the prepared blocks jello into a cup and pour the milk mixture over jello.
- Cover the cup with a lid and chill overnight. (Although not shown here, it is a good idea to skim off the bubbles for a nicer finished product.)
- Enjoy
