- Cornmeal
- Water
- Salt
- Sugar
- Tamarind
Instructions
- Peel the tamarind
- Boil the tamarind with some water in a pan
- Add water to the cornmeal (maishi chiki) in a separate bowl
- Add this mixture to the boiling tamarind
- Add a pink of salt and
- 4 scoops of sugar
- Keep stirring until thick enough
- Serve in a bowl or a plate
